Nominations now open for Milton Sports Hall of Fame

The community is being encouraged to nominate local athletes, builders or teams for the Milton Sports Hall of Fame.
The Milton Sports Hall of Fame, which is located at 605 Santa Maria Blvd., is a not-for-profit organization as well as a partner with the Town of Milton. It celebrates the accomplishments and contributions of the community while being full of sports history.

Along with having been born in Milton or having lived in the Town for a minimum of five years, nominated athletes must fit specific criteria such as the demonstration of outstanding achievement in a sport or displaying above-average proficiency in a number of sports over multiple years.
Teams or athletes competing together must have participated as a local town of Milton team in a sport and achieved distinction at the local, provincial, national or international level.

Nominations are being accepted for the Class of 2022 from now until Apr. 30, 2022.
The community is also encouraged to visit the Milton Sports Wall of Fame display at the Milton Sports Centre in the hallway between the customer service desk and the gym.
