No parking on Burlington streets until snow is plowed

A “snow event” is still in effect in Burlington which means be mindful of where you park your vehicle.

In Burlington, a snow event means that all streets must be cleared of parked vehicles until plows are finished clearing residential roads.

During the clean-up following yesterday’s snowfall, sidewalks and bus shelters are also being cleared.

There will be no on-street parking until the snow event is declared over.

Despite the snow event, all City of Burlington offices, community centres and transit services are open and operating today.

While local roads are expected to be cleared today, snow is again in the forecast later this week.

Tomorrow (March 1), snow mixed with rain is expected according to Environment Canada, while snow is expected on Friday followed by more flurries on Saturday.
