After a day with just two new Covid-19 cases Durham Region added nine more to the case load yesterday, with the total number of Delta variants now sitting at 146.

All nine new cases are home self-isolating and local hospitals remain Covid-free.

Seventy-seven per cent of Durham’s 12-plus population have received at least one vaccination dose and 68.1 per cent of the 12-and-over population is now fully vaccinated.

Oshawa continues to lag behind its neighbours with just 64.6 per cent of its citizens fully vaccinated.
