Nine new COVID-19 cases added through the weekend and today in Niagara Region

After seeing four new COVID-19 cases on both Saturday (July 17) and Sunday, just one new case is being reported today in Niagara Region.

Today’s single case matches two days last week with just one case.

However, with more cases being resolved than discovered, the region has dropped to a 2021 low with just 52 active cases.

All nine new cases through the weekend and today are being listed as “likely” the Delta variant.
