Nightclub shooting leaves a 19 year-old female dead in Mississauga Ontario

Police say a 19-year-old woman is dead after an overnight shooting outside a nightclub in Mississauga.
Peel Police responded to the call for a shooting at approximately 1:40 a.m. on Sunday morning at the area of Dixie Road and Eglinton Avenue East.
It is unclear if the shooting occurred inside the nightclub or in front of it. This area has been known for shootings over the past few years in Mississauga. Currently, the name of the nightclub is Jungle.
A woman has died of her injuries following a shooting at a nightclub area in Mississauga.
When Peel Police and Paramedics arrived on the scene, they located a woman in critical condition.
She was rushed to a hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.

There has been no suspect information that has been released at this time.
Police say there is no threat to public safety.
Eglinton Avenue East is closed between Dixie Road and Burgoyne Street while police are on scene.
