Brampton residents looking for a midweek outing this summer will once again have the chance to enjoy local food, entertainment and family activities as the Mount Pleasant Night Market returns for another season.
The popular weekly event will run every Thursday from July 9 to Aug. 27, taking over Mount Pleasant Village Square at 100 Commuter Dr. from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Hosted by the City of Brampton, the outdoor market brings together food vendors, local businesses and community entertainment in a street-market atmosphere that has become a summertime fixture in the city’s northwest end.
Visitors can expect a wide variety of food options, including street food, sweet treats and specialty offerings from local vendors. The event will also feature market stalls, live entertainment and free activities for children, making it a family-friendly destination throughout the summer.
City officials say the market is designed to create opportunities for residents to support local businesses while enjoying community programming close to home.
Located beside the Mount Pleasant GO Station, the village square has become a popular gathering place for community events and seasonal celebrations. Organizers say this year’s night market will build on the success of previous editions, which regularly attracted families and visitors from across Brampton.
The weekly event offers residents an alternative to weekend festivals and provides a chance to enjoy live entertainment, browse local vendors and sample a variety of food offerings during the summer months.
Admission to the Mount Pleasant Night Market is free.
