Nickel Brook Brewing Co. is kicking off its Summer Comedy Series with a jam-packed show headlined by Manolis Zontanos.

Hosted by Burlington’s Dan Brennan, the Thursday, June 30, show will also feature Patrick Coppolino, Ryan Sim and Keh Dee.

Zontanos has been on The Comedy Network, Just For Laughs, MTV Canada and more. He has been making audiences all over Canada laugh for years.

Touring the world as a comedian, Manolis has worked with the likes of Russell Peters, Ari Shaffir and Rick Shapiro.

His unique brand of humour allows audiences into the mind of a simple yet, at the same time, complex man who leaves people feeling as though they made a new best friend.

Born and raised in Hamilton, Coppolina, has become a leader in the local comedy scene. He has toured North America with The Monsters of Comedy and has shared the stage with the likes of Neil Hamburger, Brian Posehn, Ari Shaffir, Jeffrey Ross, and Tom Green.

Sim is a Hamilton-based comedian and two-time recipient of the Niagara Comedy Awards ‘Best out of Towner’. He runs shows throughout southern Ontario and also performed in the Hamilton Fringe fest as a life-sized, rapping, swearing Grump bear, for which he won the people’s choice award.

Dee is an up and coming stand-up comic from Niagara Falls. Her fresh and fun style of self-deprecating humour and silly songs will have you knee slapping and toe tapping. She has opened for the likes of SNL’s Tim Meadows. Dee was also named Rookie of the Year at the 2021 Niagara Comedy Awards.

Host Dan Brennan, from Burlington, is a gifted storyteller, and his material, based on all the times he got it wrong and his inability to comprehend the modern world is delivered with hilarious effect.

Tickets cost $15 and although it’s all-ages, the comedy often contains mature themes. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. For tickets, visit here.
