Niagara Region sees 22 new COVID-19 cases today

The Niagara Region was hit with 22 new COVID-19 cases today (October 27) and with just 19 resolved, that left the region sitting at 154 ongoing cases.

All of the cases in Niagara are either the Delta variant or “likely” to be so. As well, there are five patients being treated in Niagara hospitals – all five are in ICU. Two of them are fully vaccinated.

St. Catharines leads the ongoing caseload with 61, followed by Niagara Falls with 32. Both Fort Erie and Grimsby have 13 each.

The remaining eight municipalities sees Niagara-on-the-Lake, Pelham and West Lincoln all with two cases up to eight in Thorold.
