Niagara Region see 30 new cases of COVID-19 today

There were 30 new COVID-19 cases in Niagara Region today (September 14) pushing the region up to 310 active cases.

Sadly, with the Delta variant tearing through Niagara (over 99 per cent of all cases), there were three more deaths locally in the last week, meaning 425 area residents have died from COVID-19 since March 2020.

Niagara Falls continues to top the active list with 101 cases, followed by St Catharines at 88.

It then drops down to 32 cases for Thorold, 20 for Welland and 14 for both Grimsby and Fort Erie.
