With three new COVID-19 cases in Niagara Region today (July 20), clearly the pandemic isn’t over just yet.

However, with five more resolved cases today, Niagara Region has hit an all-time low for 2021 with just 51 existing cases.

Niagara hasn’t seen a number that low since the pandemic began in mid-March 2020.

Over the run of the pandemic, Niagara has seen 418 deaths after 16,311 cases. Some 15,842 cases have been fully resolved.
