Niagara Region has just one new COVID-19 case today (July 16), matching Tuesday’s total as the lowest single-day number in the region for 2021.

For the past week (July 10-16), Niagara Health has seen 24 new cases in total, slightly more than three per day. However, the resolved cases have vastly outnumbered new cases as the region now has just 60.

That number is by far the lowest in the vast tract of land covering Durham Region through the GTA and around the bend to Hamilton and the Golden Horseshoe.
