Niagara Police are still on the lookout for a man who robbed a Subway sandwich shop in Thorold back on December 17.

On that day at 10:15 pm, a man went into the shop at 8 Clairmont St. and passed the employee a note saying he had a gun. He then demanded all the cash from the register before taking off on foot. The employee wasn’t hurt during the encounter.

The suspect was described as a white male, 40 to 50 years old, 6-foot and 180 pounds, wearing a black face mask, dark blue hooded sweatshirt and grey pants. See above and below.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the lead detective by dialing 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009590.
