While nothing illegal happened, Niagara Police are nonetheless on the look-out for a suspicious truck in Fort Erie after an incident.

On October 6 at 4:4opm, the police responds to a call in the Lavinia Street and North Street area after learning the driver of a pick-up truck stopped at the intersection and asked a youth if they wanted a ride.

Ultimately, the youth took off, running home to tell his parents and the truck quickly left the area.

Despite the fact that nothing untoward happened, police are still looking for the driver “to determine his intentions.”

The pick-up truck (see below) is described as possibly a Chevrolet Silverado, maroon in colour, 1998 to 2000 model, four doors with a distinct logo/marking on the driver’s side.

The driver of the pick-up truck is described as a white male with a raspy voice.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the investigating officer at 905-688-4111, option #3, extension #1009369.
