Niagara police are appealing to the public for help in locating dozens of people wanted in connection with crimes ranging from theft and assault to skipping court dates.

The crimes have been reported throughout the Niagara region.

The list, released on July 26, contains the images and alleged offences of suspects arrested between July 1, 2022, and now.

Police say there were 116 arrests from July 1, 2022, until the end of the year. There have been 150 additional arrests made since Jan. 1, 2023.

Police say the service has worked with the courts in Niagara to establish a procedure that will allow individuals accused of a crime to learn more about appearing in court online, over the phone or in person.

Should a wanted person be arrested, their image will be removed from the police service’s list and replaced with a silhouette. In 14 days, the outline and description will both be removed.

The list of suspects can be found here

The alleged crimes include assault with a weapon, uttering threats, theft, failing to comply with probation conditions, failing to appear in court, driving while prohibited, shoplifting, fleeing from police, breaking and entering and more.

Anyone with information on the current whereabouts of these individuals is asked to call Niagara Regional Police at (905) 688-4111 and request to speak to “dispatch.”

Police advise people not to approach these individuals and instead call police if they are spotted.
