UPDATE: Niagara Police located and arrested Sean Nicholas without incident in the city of Hamilton.

Nicholas will be held in custody in order to attend a video bail hearing to the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines on August 27.

Niagara Police are on the look-out for an armed robber who’s still on the run.

Yesterday (August 25) at 6:15 am, a victim was robbed at gun-point in a car parked in the area of North Service Road and Olive Street in Grimsby.

Police say the victim was not injured in any way. They believe this was a targeted incident between the victim and the suspect.

They are now hunting for Sean Nicholas, 25, of no fixed address on charges of robbery with a firearm, pointing a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle  and possession of a firearm while on prohibition.

Niagara Police said Nicholas’ current location is unknown so they’re asking the public for help.

His car is a silver 2007, two-door Honda Civic with the Ontario plate CSSM464.

He is described as male, black, 5-foot-9 and roughly 250 pounds with brown eyes and black hair

Police say Nicholas should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who believes they’ve spotted him is being told not to approach Nicholas, but rather call the police.

Anyone who may have information about this incident, or the location of Nicholas are being asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, extension 1009023.
