Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) attend the scene of a shooting that occurred overnight in Pelham.

Officers of 3 District (Welland/Pelham) responded to a residential address on Foss Rd. near Victoria Ave. shortly after 1:30 a.m. early this morning (June 25) after receiving reports of gun shots fired.

Police located two men suffering from gun-shot wounds inside a residence upon arrival.

Both victims were treated by Niagara Emergency Medical Service paramedics on scene before being taken to an out-of-town trauma centre for serious injuries.

Police learned around 2 a.m. than an additional victim with gun-shot wounds had arrived at a local hospital.

Officers attended the hospital and confirmed the victim’s connection to the shooting that happened at the residential address on Foss Rd.

All three men remain in hospital in stable condition at this time.

Police do not believe this incident poses an on-going threat to public safety.

Members of the 3 District Criminal Investigative Branch as well as detectives from the Forensic Services Unit continue to process the scene.

Foss Rd. between Farr St. and Victoria Ave. remains closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic to allow investigators to work.

Detectives appeal to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident to come forward.
