Niagara Police hunt for couple that broken into St. Catharines Walmart

Niagara Police are on the hunt for a couple who broken into a St. Catharines Walmart on December 11 and were interrupted by night staff.

Police say the couple broke into the store located at 221 Glendale Avenue and had collected a fair bit of merchandise until they were caught by an employee working the night shift.

They instantly tried to get away but the employee was able of grab one of the bags they were dragging around the store “causing some of the items to fall to the ground.”

The suspect had fled before the police arrived but were seen leaving in an older model grey Honda 4 door SUV.

Suspect 1 is described as a white female, 25 to 30 years old, 5-foot-even with a medium build, wearing grey track pants and a tan hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and a face mask.

Suspect 2 is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, 6 foot with a slender build, wearing black pants, black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and black face mask
