Back in April, Halton Police began investigating a house in Grimsby under suspicion of potential drug trafficking.

Yesterday (June 15), they teamed up with Niagara Police with a search warrant for a house on Dunrobin Lane near Winston Road in Grimsby.

Searching both his house and his pick-up truck, the combined forces found 45 grams of Fentanyl (street value $9,900), drug trafficking paraphernalia, a spring assisted switch-blade knife (illegal in Canada) and suspected crime cash totaling $25,165 in Canadian currency and another $30 US.

Stephen Mark O’Sullivan, 69, of Grimsby was charged with possession of drugs for the purposes of trafficking and unauthorized possession of a weapon.

He was held in custody for a video bail hearing at the courthouse in St. Catharines today.

The Niagara Police has charge of the investigation but thanked Halton Police for “their leadership and partnership in this investigation.”

Anyone with information about this investigation can contact detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009935.
