There will be two new stop signs installed at the corner of Anderson Lane and Anderson Lane in Niagara-on-the-Lake today (September 20).
At the moment, only Anderson Lake southbound has a stop sign while the east-west Anderson Lane doesn’t.
By the end of the day, it will be a three-way stop.
The town is urging drivers to use extra caution at this intersection as traffic adjusts to the new stop signs.
They’re also warning that enforcement of the all-way stop will start immediately after they’re installed.
Residents with questions can contact Mike Komljenovic, Engineering Supervisor for the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake by emailing [email protected] or calling (905) 468-3266. See notice below.
