Three more cases of COVID-19 were discovered today in the Niagara Region, pushing the active cases to 49 region-wide.

There have been 21 new cases in the region for the past week (July 20 to 26), meaning an average of three per day.

While Niagara has never seen zero new cases on any day in 2021, just one new case was discovered on July 13 and 16.

April 15 was, by far, the highest reported number with 220 cases in Niagara.

While St Catharines has the highest reported number of active cases with 19 and Niagara Falls following with 10, both Fort Erie and Niagara-on-the-Lake are ground zero for COVID-19 with neither municipality having a single case.
