Niagara Falls will livestream Remembrance Day Service next week; second service being held

There will be two separate days for Niagara Falls residents to pay tribute to the soldiers that laid down their lives for freedom.
The main Remembrance Day Service will be the traditional one, held outdoors at the Cenotaph beside the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Fairview Cemetery (4501 Stanley Ave) on November 11 at 10:45 am.
This annual observance will be live-streamed, so residents who are unable to attend the service can follow along from their computer or mobile device.
The live stream will be available next Friday, beginning at 10:45 am, and can be found HERE.
However, because November 11 is, in fact, a Friday, there will also be a separate one held this weekend on November 6 for community and all residents at the Chippawa Willoughby Memorial Arena (9000 Sodom Rd).
Held by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 396 in Chippawa, the event is at 11 a.m. and is open to the public, and this year there are no pandemic-related restrictions.
After the service, which will take one hour, people can head over to the legion hall (3860 Legion St) for refreshments.
