Niagara Falls pet store owner busted after police find $35,000 in drugs

A pet grooming and treats store seems an unlikely establishment for a drug racket but that was exactly the case for Niagara Police.

After watching Jade’s Pet Grooming and Gourmet Treats on Leeming Street in Niagara Falls through the month, the police swooped in yesterday (July 11) and found $35,000 in street drugs.

During the search, the police seized a quantity of crystal meth, cocaine, fentanyl and mushrooms with a street value of $35,000, as well as over $6,600 is suspected crime cash

Jade LeBlanc, 32, of Niagara Falls was charged with four different count of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of crime cash totaling $6.676.

He is currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing today at the courthouse in St. Catharines.
