Niagara Falls is known as the “Honeymoon Capital” throughout the world and this year, the city is helping couples get things off to a quicker start by offering special deals on weddings for Valentine’s Day.

They’ll even throw in the photographer as part of the deal.

The City’s Clerks Department, which processes marriage licenses and performs daily civil wedding ceremonies in Council Chambers at City Hall, will be offering an elevated wedding experience for Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, February 14.

A limited number of hour-long time slots are available at City Hall and the Niagara Falls History Museum. Complimentary Valentine’s Day programming includes:

  • Valentine’s Day-themed flowers and décor
  • A complimentary sparkling beverage toast for the couple
  • A photographer to capture a memory from your ceremony

Prospective newlyweds can visit HERE for more details on the civil wedding ceremony process.

Couples can arrange their time slot in advance of February 14 by contacting the Office of the City Clerk at [email protected] or 905-356-7521 ext. 0, while space remains.

The cost of a marriage license is $140 and the fee for the wedding ceremony is $300. If choosing the Niagara Falls History Museum (rather than City Hall) for your ceremony, a wedding license must be obtained at City Hall, prior to your ceremony’s start time.
