Niagara Falls man nabbed for trying to sell stolen car

Niagara Police nabbed a Niagara Falls man who was doing his best to sell a car he allegedly stole from Welland.

The police had been on the case since early November when the car was reported stolen and eventually found both the car and the suspect in Niagara Falls on November 28.

Gerry Pellizzari, 30, of Niagara Falls was charged with theft of motor vehicle and possession of stolen property under $5,000.

He was also arrested due to a bench warrant for different criminal charges.

Pellizzari has been held for a bail hearing that is expected to take place today (November 29).
