Niagara Falls man busted carrying $4,800 worth of drugs

The Niagara Police have charged a Niagara Falls man after a three week investigation of drug distribution in a section of Niagara Falls.

Eventually, on March 21, it lead them to a man in the Ontario Ave and Park Street of the city, who was found with $4,800 worth of narcotics – 37.3 grams of suspected Fentanyl (street value of $4,700) and 0.1 grams of suspected cocaine (street value of $100).

Kevin Andrews, 50, of Niagara Falls has been charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine, theft under $5,000 dollars and three counts of failure to comply with a release order.

He was held for a bail hearing today in St. Catharines via video link.
