Niagara Falls man arrested after $6,590 in illegal drugs seized by police

As the result of an investigation into alleged drug trafficking in Niagara Falls, the police descended on two homes with warrants yesterday (Feb. 16) and seized $6,590 in illegal drugs while arresting one man.

Niagara Police say officers searched two Niagara Falls homes – one in the Morrison St. and Chrysler Ave. area, the other near Victoria Ave. and Jepson St. – and between the two, found 60 grams of suspected fentanyl, 15.8 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, and 4.5 grams of suspected cocaine, worth $6,950, as well as $2,900 in suspected crime cash.

Nicolas Roditis, 47, of Niagara Falls, has been charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of crime cash under $5,000, possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and failure to comply with a probation order.

He was released from custody and is scheduled for a court date in St. Catharines on April 20.
