Niagara Falls man and woman both charged after police seize $8,000 in drugs, cash and weapons

A Niagara Falls man and woman were charged after police raided their home and seized illegal drugs, crime cash and weapons yesterday (March 2).

After an investigation that dates back to February, Niagara Police raided a home in the Leeming St. and Highland Ave. area, seizing 9.8 grams of suspected fentanyl, 31.9 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, and 28.2 grams of suspected cocaine with a street value of the drugs is $5,584.

As well, they also $2,562 of suspected crime cash, a taser, three pairs of brass knuckles and a prohibited knife.

Jade Victoria LeBlanc, 31, of Niagara Falls has been charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon, possession of crime cash under $5,000, possession of both fentanyl and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and failure to comply with a release order.

Devon Cleridand Ciccarelli, 31, of Niagara Falls has been charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon, possession of crime cash under $5,000, possession of both fentanyl and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, failure to comply with a release order and possession of fentanyl.

The pair stayed in police custody until a bail hearing today (March 3) via video link to the courthouse in St. Catharines.
