A Niagara Falls grandmother was left in a daze when she scratched the final letter-number combo she needed for a $100,000 win in the INSTANT BINGO DOUBLER lottery.

Jacqueline Kates said she is an occasional lottery player and her favourite games are INSTANT BINGO and INSTANT CROSSWORD.

“I was looking to pass some time when I purchased my tickets,” she said at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.

The retail worker discovered her win when she uncovered B4 on her ticket and realized it was the last number she needed for big money.

“I thought something was wrong. I went right to the store, and when I found out I won $100,000, everything was a blur! I could hardly talk from disbelief!”

Kates said this win will go a long way and make for a more comfortable retirement. “I will be able to enjoy some trips and truly be able to relax,” she smiled.

She also plans to share with her children and fix up an old car.

The winning ticket was purchased at Bob’s Fast & Fresh Convenience on Portage Road in Niagara Falls.
