If you are new to Brampton you can see all the special and important locations in town on the Newcomer Bus Tour.

Anyone who has arrived in the city after January 1, 2019 is eligible for the tour that includes Brampton City Hall and Gage Park, festive light locations, hospitals, community centres, bus and train stations, and library branches.

Winter tours will take place on December 6 and 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. Residents can register online at bramptonlibrary.ca or by phoning 905.793.4636.

The tour has been very popular in the past and has received many awards and accolades for its innovative approach to welcoming people to the city.

The program is presented by Brampton Library, Brampton Transit and the City of Brampton.

“We’re so excited to continue to offer these tours, which provide a welcoming introduction to all that Brampton has to offer for our newest residents,” said Todd Kyle, chief executive officer of the Brampton Library. “It’s just one more way that Brampton Library is inspiring connections!”
