New York-inspired coffeehouse opens in Mississauga

Mississauga coffee lovers have a new spot for a cup of Joe.

Tribeca Coffee Co. has opened at 285 Lakeshore Rd. E. in Port Credit. The spot was previously home to lingerie shop Chou Chou Cheri, which relocated to 131 Kerr St. in Oakville back in February.

The menu includes a range of espresso drinks, teas, smoothies and treats.

The new cafe, which hasn’t yet got its exterior sign up, is already getting rave reviews.

“Absolutely love this new coffee shop!” one customer wrote on Google Review. “The staff were super friendly and the coffee and treats were also amazing! What a cozy place!”

“Finally, a true coffee house experience in PC!” another person wrote. “Had one of the best flat white’s I’ve ever had and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere.”

Tribeca Coffee Co. was founded in Oakville in 2016 with a goal to bring “the New York cafe experience to the suburbs.”

They opened a second location in downtown Burlington in 2023.

The Port Credit location is the third for the chain.
