Ottawa Street North is soon to be a one-stop vegan-dining hot spot with a vegan dessert shop moving to the street.

Fairly Frosted Bakery first opened in Guelph in 2011 but is currently located at 811 King Street East in Hamilton.

The bakery and ice cream shop specializes in providing desserts that are entirely vegan, gluten free and nut free.

Fairly Frosted Bakery is currently working to move to a new location at 76 Ottawa Street North and their soon-to-be neighbours are looking forward to it.

Hammerhead’s is a sustainable, seafood restaurant located at 80 Ottawa Street North.

In a recent post on Instagram, the restaurant shared a photo of a Hamilton building permit with the caption: “We’re getting new neighbours! @fairlyfrosted is moving in next door and we can’t wait!”

The owners of Fairly Frosted Bakery, Lise-Anne and Chad have been long time vegans themselves and understand the need for unconventional vegan desserts.

“You can trust that we’re thorough in how we vet our ingredients, and that we hold ourselves to the highest standards of taste and quality,” Lise-Anne and Chad said on their website. “Making something vegan by swapping in soy milk or banana and calling it a day isn’t what we’re about.”

The bakery features a variety of different treats such as cupcakes, ice cream sandwiches, cookies, squares, cakes, and even chocolate dipped ice cream bars.

The new location requires a few alterations and Fairly Frosted Bakery says they are not moving until Fall 2022.
