Streetsville Centre, a new townhouse development currently taking shape in Mississauga’s Streetsville neighbourhood, is expected to be complete by fall or winter 2022.

Developed by Dunpar Homes, the 80 Thomas Street development boasts a number of townhomes, back-to-back townhouses and semi-detached homes, totalling 194 homes overall.

“Following other Dunpar Homes’ thriving communities’ footsteps, Streetsville Centre will be an enclave of classic townhomes that thoroughly merge with this vibrant Mississauga residential neighborhood,” Dunpar Homes says.

Some of the listed features include three bedrooms, spacious townhome designs, luxury bathroom and kitchen features, and a distinctive, elegant design for both the interior and exterior of the homes.

A lot has changed throughout Streetsville Centre’s development — the total number of homes was reduced to 194 from 219, amid concerns from some residents back in 2017 that the proposed development was too dense.

Early concerns were also raised about the new homes being built on a former industrial site, although Dunpar assured that proper environmental assessments and decontamination would be conducted.

Prices for the new units range from $979,990 to $1,450,990, with the sizes of the units ranging from 1517 to 2380 square feet.
