While the construction of another Tesla Supercharger station is well on its way in Mississauga, Oakville will soon have another one of its own.

Mississauga now has three supercharging stations under construction and, according Drive Tesla Canada, Oakville is set to get one in the central part of town before the end of this year.

The new Oakville Supercharger will be constructed at 345 Speers Rd. Work has just started on what appears will be a station with eight or 12 stalls.

Tesla accidentally revealed the new Oakville supercharger local during a map update last year.

It continues to be a busy year for Tesla’s Supercharger team in Canada as construction began on three new stations in Canada this week, including in Mississauga, Valleyview (Alberta) and Yorkton (Saskatchewan).

Mississauga looks to be the focal point for Tesla. A 32-stall station at the Applewood Village Plaza is waiting to be turned on as is a station located in the parking lot of an Esso gas station at 5980 Hurontario St.

The current supercharger location just beginning construction appears to a is a 12-stall station at next to a Shell gas station at the corner of Dundas St. W. and Ridgeway Dr.

Once construction is complete on the current Superchargers in the area, there will be five in the area including the original Mississauga location at Meadowvale and in Etobicoke at CF Sherway Gardens.

Construction of the Supercharger in Brampton, located at the Canadian Tire on 2850 Queen St. E., is complete and the station is in full operation.
