New Sri Lankan and South Indian restaurant now open in Mississauga

A new Sri Lankan and South Indian restaurant has recently opened up in Mississauga.
The restaurant, called Flaming Claypot, is located at 1510 Drew Rd. and serves Sri Lankan and South Indian Cuisine with a promise to provide guests “a little taste of Ceylon.”
Flaming Claypot, which is open for dine-in and takeout, celebrated its grand opening on Mar. 11, 2023.
The restaurant’s menu features items such as masala dosa and mutton biryani.
Since its opening, the restaurant has already garnered several positive reviews online which mention its tasty food served in clay pots and friendly service from staff.

A review from another user even stated it “embodied authentic Tamil food” and was served in clay pots which gave them a taste of home.

The restaurant is open Monday to Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
