New shop for ice cream, unique frozen treats is opening soon in Hamilton

A Brantford-based ice cream parlour is setting up shop in Hamilton, with plans to open just in time for summer.

OMG Ice Cream and Frozen Treats will be opening its third location at 1047 King Street W (between OneZo Tapioca and Chung Chun in Westdale).

This small chain boasts a menu full of frozen goodies sure to satisfy just about any craving for coolness.

Soft and hard ice cream in a variety of flavours will be up for grabs as well as frozen yogurt.

But when it comes to over-the-top and innovative frozen treats, OMG will quickly become the go-to in Hamilton.

The OMG motto is ‘Ordinary to Extraordinary’ and they deliver on that promise in their sky-high sundaes, cookie-bottom customizable cakes, ice cream sandwiches and ice cream tacos (that’s right!).

While an exact date for the shop’s opening is yet to be determined, OMG!’s social media posts hint that after some renovations and a storefront facelift, customers will start being welcomed within a few weeks.
