New Shawarma joint opens in Brampton

A new restaurant is bringing a taste of the Mediterranean with a Canadian twist to Brampton.
Located at 135 Main St. North, Sharmz Mediterranean Restaurant offers traditional dishes like Shawarma and kebabs, but also offers Canadian classics like poutine with a Mediterranean spin.
With recipes perfected over 20 years, Sharmz’s says its chefs are proud to offer an exquisite and authentic selection of Mediterranean dishes cooked with fresh ingredients.
For main dishes, Sharmz has chicken, beef and Falafel Shawarma platters as well as kebabs, sandwiches and Mediterranean fusion poutine.
They also offer family sized platters like the Sharmz Grand Feast and catering services for special events.
Delivery and online ordering options will be coming soon according to the restaurant’s website, but you can find Sharmz on Uber Eats and Door Dash or order directly by calling 905-451-3232.

Sharmz is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
