A new scuba shop is opening soon in Georgetown.

Dirty Adventures Scuba, will officially be opening its doors at 16 Main St. South on May 4.

According to its website, the shop’s mission is to “grow the diving community in an inclusive manner” while delivering personalized scuba education.

“Here at Dirty Adventures Scuba, every voice matters and no one should ever be afraid to speak up or ask questions. Your active participation in this community plays a great role in building a safe diving culture, as everyone should be well informed to make their own risk assessments,” reads its website.

“We also want to appeal to those who traditionally don’t think of diving as an activity that is doable here in Canada and build a strong local community.”

The shop will offer scuba instruction from try diving to the assistant instructor level as well as services such as private coaching, air fills, gear rentals, servicing and repair and scuba pool parties.
