Brampton Transit is weeks away from launching a new employment shuttle route and changes to bus lines to improve service.
The new Brampton Transit Route 302 Deerhurst will take its first trip on Aug. 4, replacing the Route 29A Williams variant route south of Queen Street.
Brampton Transit says Route 302 Deerhurst will service Deerhurst Drive, Paget Road and Kenview Boulevard with service operating every 25 minutes, and has been designed to support workers’ commuting patterns and improve access to key employment destinations.
The new route will operate during weekday a.m. and p.m. peak periods, “providing customers with a direct and convenient travel option,” the city says.
Along with the new route, August will bring service changes to over a dozen routes across Brampton.
