Lace up your skates and get ready to bust out your best moves as there’s a new pop-up roller rink coming to Brampton with discounts for the first handful of registered skaters.

Starting on Oct. 27, SUSO Skate Co. will transform the old Sears department store at Bramalea City Centre (BCC) into a roller skating experience for a limited run.

Decked out with disco balls, neon signs, a vinyl record album wall and plenty of eye-catching decorations, SUSO Skate Co. says the 30,000-square-foot rink will make for some photo-worthy skate moments.

SUSO has opened previous pop-ups in old big box stores in Cambridge, North York and Toronto, and the Brampton location will cater to skaters of all ages with adult-only times and family-friendly time slots available.

Roller skate rentals start at $18 per hour and includes complimentary wrist guards and a coat check with the option to add protective gear. People with their own skates can book a time slot for $14 and skate for up to 3 hours.

Online bookings open at 11 a.m. on Thursday (Sept. 14) and the first 50 bookings will get 50 per cent off by using the promo code HelloBrampton50, and the following 50 guests will get 25 per cent off using the promo code HelloBrampton25.

The SUSO Skate Co. pop-up at BCC opens on Oct. 27 and will be open Wednesdays through Sundays until the end of February. Online bookings open at 11 a.m. on Sept. 14.
