A new roller skate pop-up experience is set to open soon in Brampton.

You read that right…roller skates. Those who enjoy feeling nostalgic or simply want to try something new may be excited to know that SUSO Skate Co., which stands for Summer Solstice Skate Company, will be opening a pop-up location in the City of Brampton.

A representative from SUSO Skate. Co. told insauga.com that the tentative location will open around September 2023.

And while the exact location cannot be revealed just yet, the community can expect it to open at an indoor location within a popular mall.

The same representative told insauga.com that this pop-up experience will be similar to traditional roller rinks in that they will offer skate rentals or the option for guests to bring their own.
“This proposed Brampton location will be our biggest location to date, with more to come outside of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) in 2023,” said the representative.

SUSO Skate Co. is known for partnering with malls to pop up in their empty big-box stores, which in the past have included old Bed Bath and Beyond, Sears or Target stores.

Its mission is to “transform spaces into experiential community destinations” and its locations are known for having designs that put a modern twist on the traditional roller rink.

“SUSO’s mission is to create outdoor spaces for communities to come together,” reads SUSO Skate Co.’s website.

“With inclusivity and transparency at our core, we want to provide an opportunity for you to make meaningful connections, start something new and move your body.”
