A virtual pre-application community meeting is being held soon to discuss a retail and commercial development that has been proposed in Burlington by 1215 Appleby Line Holdings Inc.

The development has been proposed at 5030-5045 Tico Creek Common and this meeting will be the first step in reviewing the proposal.

A public notice for the pre-application meeting has already been mailed out to all property owners within 120 metres of the property.

The owner is proposing an increase in mixed-use building maximum gross floor area as well as the expansion of retail store permissions for the proposed buildings (Buildings A and B) on the subject lands.

The meeting will discuss the proposed amendment to the zoning bylaw for lands located at 5030-5045 Tico Creek Common situated east of Appleby Line, south of Mainway. It will also address key questions and gather community feedback prior to the submission of any development application.

No application has been submitted at this time and the City of Burlington has not made any decisions on this proposal.

Ward 5 Councillor Paul Sharman will be in attendance at the meeting, which will take place on Thursday, Aug. 12 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
