A new restaurant aims to bring “the highest level” of Vietnamese food to Hamilton.

Em Oi opened its doors at 542 Upper Wellington St. on Oct. 2 with a grand opening event. The new restaurant aims to be a “demonstration of our passion for both traditional cuisine and high-quality modern dining.”

They boast authentic Vietnamese dining made with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to “ensure the highest calibre of freshness with a minimal footprint.”

The menu contains vegetarian options, like Vietnamese spring rolls, fried dumplings, crispy tofu, stir-fries, rice dishes and mushrooms. Also featured are traditional works, pad thai and soups.

Additionally, Em Oi features a sleek modern interior filled with bamboo and hanging plants. It features a slick bar area and window-front seating. They also offer a dining hall for up to 50 guests.

While not yet available, Em Oi will eventually roll out executive breakfasts.

Em Oi is open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Wednesday to Monday.
