New Pop-Up Shop Now Open in Erin Mills Town Centre in Mississauga
While we always encourage people to spend time outside during our short and precious summers, we also know that it’s important to take shelter from the heat—especially the heat expected this weekend—from time to time.
For that reason, we think some residents might be excited to learn that a dessert-focused pop-up shop is open at Erin Mills Town Centre for a limited time only.
Candy Crate Events, which offers DIY colour-coordinated candy bar kits, is currently running a pop-up shop at the newly-renovated mall from now until August 31.
The pop-up, which will be serving up freshly hand-spun candy floss to shoppers, is open on Thursday and Fridays.
The candy buffet, which can also be booked for bridal and baby showers, birthday parties, bachelorette events and more, offers gluten-free, dye-free, organic, and vegan candy floss in more than 35 flavours. Some more unique flavours include pink lemonade, mango mojito, maple, key lime pie, Kona cream, and more.
Candy Crate Events also has an assortment of other products, including naturally sweetened gummies.
The company says it’s one of few in the GTA to offer gluten-free, dye-free, organic, vegan hand-spun candy floss.
Founder Anita Saini will also be on hand at the pop-up to talk about how food trends are changing the way candy companies like Candy Crate Events do things.
The company says Saini started the company after she couldn’t easily find candy with ingredients she could trust to give her kids during special occasions and celebrations.
