New pedestrian crossover installed in Milton

A new pedestrian crossover has been installed at Maple Ave. and Woodward Ave. in Milton.
As a result, the Town is reminding residents to remember to push the button to activate the flashing lights when crossing in this area.

“Motorists must remain stopped until everyone has crossed all lanes of the road,” said the Town of Milton on Twitter.
All pedestrian crossovers within the Town are marked by lines on the road, a clear place showing where motorists should stop, roadside signs and flashing lights in certain cases.
