A Burlington man is $100,000 richer after saying ‘Yes’ to Encore.

Brent Drover, 55, matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the Oct. 22, Ontario 49 draw to win $100,000.

Drover, who works in construction, said he has been regularly playing the lottery since he was of legal age to purchase tickets.

“I always say yes to Encore. This is my biggest win so far,” he said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.

He checked his tickets while at the store to discover his big win.

“I had to take a closer look. I was caught off guard. I told my family and they’re so happy for me.”

Drover plans to treat himself to a motorcycle and a trip to the east coast.

“I always hoped there would be a winning ticket with my name on it. It’s pretty sweet – it feels good.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Speers Rd. in Oakville.
