New Mississauga waffle restaurant serves up plenty of comfort foods

A comfort food eatery that specializes in waffles, waffles and…more waffles now has two locations in Mississauga.

Waffle-O, with restaurants at 5200 Dixie Rd. (at Matheson Blvd.) and 731 Central Pkwy. W. (at Mavis Rd.), is a labour of love, say the eatery owners on their website.

“As avid restaurateurs and food enthusiasts, Waffle-O is truly a labour of love for us. We’ve set out to create Waffle-O as a fun, comfortable eat-out space that brings families and loved ones together over food they love,” the owners continue. “A place where you’ll gladly leave life’s stresses out the door. And if you’re looking for a quick takeout, we’ve got you covered.”

Waffle-O owners say their “drool-worthy” food will lift up the spirits of customers, all in an environment complete with amiable and skilled management members and servers.

“We can’t wait for you to have the good ol’ Waffle-O experience,” the owners say. “For all things waffle, this is the place to be.”

With menu headings from Dessert Waffle-O, shakes and sides to cakes and crepes, the restaurant has something to satisfy almost everyone.
