New Mississauga street name will honour prominent citizen

Mississauga has added three names to its inventory of approved street name reserve list including that of a prominent member of the Sikh community.
The names can now be used when new streets are created in the city.
The names are Onofrio, Jasjit and Jasjit Singh.
The late Jasjit Singh Bhullar was a prominent community leader and a founding member of Ontario Khalsa Darbar, one of the largest Sikh gurdwaras in the world outside of India. He died in February.
