New Mississauga restaurant will serve Chicago-style hot dogs, burgers, and ice cream

A new Mississauga restaurant plans to bring a taste of Chicago to Port Credit.

Chicago’s will open soon at 111 Lakeshore Road W, featuring an “authentic Chicago-style” menu of hamburgers, hot dogs, fresh cut fries, ice cream and more.

For those who’ve never tried one, a Chicago-style hot dog usually consists of an all-beef frankfurter in a poppy seed bun, topped with mustard, relish, onions, tomato, peppers and a kosher-style pickle spear. It’s a mouthwatering combination of flavours!

The new restaurant is taking over the former location of Captain Robin’s Family Restaurant, the popular all-day breakfast spot that closed suddenly back in April.

While the restaurant’s opening date hasn’t been confirmed just yet, it already has signage up indicating that it’s “opening soon.”
