New Middle Eastern take-out restaurant opens in Mississauga

A new Middle Eastern take-out restaurant has opened up in Mississauga.

Dough Master, located at 128 Queen Street S., Unit 23, specializes in Eastern Mediterranean dishes including baked goods, pizza, pastries and more.

According to its website, the owner’s passion for baking stems from Middle Eastern traditions and a love for his culture.

The owner and main chef, Jihad “Abu Yousef”, has been working in the industry for over 20 years at restaurants all over the world including in Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine and Syria.

Popular menu items include mini pies, bread, caaka and manakeesh in a variety of flavours including za’atar, cheese, meat and egg, muhammara and more.

Their menu even features halal and vegan options.

And, for those who like to have something sweet after their meals, the menu also features dessert items such as nutella and banana manakeesh and a sweet caaka.

The restaurant is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
