Massive restaurant and patisserie coming to Square One in Mississauga

A new Mado Patisserie & Restaurant is opening soon at Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga.
Slated to open sometime this fall, the new Turkish patisserie/restaurant will occupy the spacious site that was once Jamie’s Italian restaurant, a popular spot that closed down last year.
The Mado chain, with more than 300 franchised stores in Turkey and around the world, has earned widespread acclaim for its unique-tasting ice cream.
With its Canadian operation headquartered in North York, the chain currently has a location there in addition to two planned restaurants at Square One and downtown Toronto on Yonge St. Both are scheduled to open soon.
Mado owners say they’re about much more than just ice cream. From breakfast menu items and tasty bakery treats to appetizers, side dishes, main meals and desserts, patrons can take their taste buds on an adventurous journey.
“Mado brings together traditional tastes of Turkish cuisine and its own delicious tastes,” owners say.

Customers can also try new ice cream cakes, ice cream-filled profiteroles, various ice creams and frozen yogurts, and special cold and fresh beverages.
